We make these matte 3K plain carbon sheets right here on our autoclave line. Plain weave carbon fabric is different from twill. The weave pattern is symmetrical, so strength stays balanced along both length and width. That makes it a solid pick when your part gets forces from multiple directions. The matte surface is what a lot of our regular customers ask for - no shiny reflections, and fingerprints are not as noticeable as on glossy panels.
Curing inside the autoclave lets us hold steady pressure and temperature through the whole cycle. This keeps internal stress low. A common headache with cheap carbon plates is warping after CNC cutting; we dial in our process to minimize that issue. We also watch thickness tolerance closely, which is critical when you stack plates or fit parts together tightly.
We carry a selection of popular sizes and thicknesses ready to ship. If you don't need a full sheet, we can trim the blank down to your required dimensions before sending it out.
