SYCarbonFiber Factory carried out a scheduled fire extinguisher safety drill this week as part of its continuous effort to maintain a safe and well-prepared production environment. With the dry season approaching, the factory aims to reinforce employee awareness of emergency procedures, particularly in areas handling composite materials such as carbon fabric, resin systems, and high-temperature curing equipment.
The drill covered essential steps including how to identify potential fire risks, proper use of extinguishers, evacuation routes, and communication protocols. Safety instructors demonstrated different extinguisher types and guided employees through hands-on practice to ensure everyone could operate the equipment confidently.
"Our production involves heat-curing, cutting processes, and materials like carbon fabric that require careful handling," the Safety Supervisor said. "Regular training helps our team respond quickly and effectively in an emergency. Prevention and readiness are always our priority."
The exercise also included inspections of storage zones, lay-up rooms, and CNC machining areas to ensure fire-safety standards were strictly followed. Employees received reminders about maintaining clear walkways, avoiding improper material stacking, and checking equipment for overheating during long production runs.
By strengthening emergency procedures and reinforcing safe-operation habits, SYCarbonFiber Factory continues to safeguard both employees and the customer projects currently in production. The factory will maintain routine drills and inspections throughout the season to ensure safety across all departments.
