1. Core Advantages
Pain point 1: "We polish and polish, but the surface never goes truly mirror." The reason: subsurface voids. A carbon sheet pressed in a standard mold hides tiny voids just under the surface - machining, sanding or polishing exposes them as pinholes and orange peel. Our mirror plates are laminated against a precision-polished mold surface under vacuum/autoclave, with fiber volume around 62–65% - the gloss you see in the mold is the gloss you receive, not something we grind in.
Pain point 2: "The mold grows with heat - every cycle, the part drifts." Aluminum molds expand ~23 μm/m per °C. Our carbon tooling plates run at 0.2–1.0 ×10⁻⁶/°C axial CTE - roughly 25× more stable, and temperature service to 180 °C (260 °C short-term). For heated molds and jig fixtures, this means less drift between cycles, and when the mold holds CFRP parts, its CTE is matched to the part material rather than fighting it.
Pain point 3: "The plate is warped, so the fixture never locates true." Mirror-grade plates are laid up symmetrically and cured flat, with thickness tolerance held tight and flatness documented per sheet. Cut, mill or bolt it - the reference face stays where you measured it.
Three more engineering payoffs:
Lightweight tooling. At ~1.5 g/cm³ the plate is ~45% lighter than aluminum - big advantage for large molds and manually handled fixtures.
Corrosion-free. No oxidation, no surface rust; clean in workshop and clean-room environments.
The classic construction: woven 3K twill face ply over a balanced UD core - deep gloss plus real stiffness, not just decorative thin skin.

2. Customization - Four Delivery Tiers
Choose how finished you need it:
Tier 1 - Raw plate. Standard mirror or gloss sheet, trimmed square. For shops that machine in-house. Tier 2 - Cut to size. Any rectangle within the sheet envelope, edges sealed. Tier 3 - CNC finished. Milling, pockets, holes, counterbores, chamfers to your DWG/DXF/STEP - including the reference face flatness your fixture needs. Tier 4 - Mirror re-finishing. Edge finishing, protective film application, and (on request) re-polish of machined areas around critical optics-facing surfaces.
Samples before volume; DFM review on drawing; symmetric layup designed around your machining plan so you don't cut into the mirror face.
3. Company Advantages
We make the surface, then measure it - not the other way around.
Mold-surface process. Plates are laminated against precision-polished mold plates under vacuum/autoclave; low void content is an input, not a hope.
Surface metrology. Ra measured and recorded per batch; flatness documented per sheet [检测设备需补充].
Material discipline. 3K twill over balanced UD core, fiber grades from T300 to T800 [需确认产品线]; the high-gloss construction is a known recipe, not luck.
Consistency in scale. Standard sheets to 1000×1000 mm, larger panels to order; packaging protects the mirror face through shipping and your handling.
Export experience. Serving [tooling /optics/display /automotive] OEMs in [markets, 需补充]; certifications [ISO 9001 等,需补充].
What we will not do. We won't quote a Ra number our process can't hold, and we won't ship a mirror face without protective film. If your tolerance needs another process (ceramic polishing, optical coating), we say so before you pay for tooling.
4. FAQ - Engineering Q&A
Q: Why does my machined carbon surface show pits after polishing? Because standard sheets carry subsurface voids; machining exposes them. If you need mirror after machining, the plate must start void-free - that is what our mold-surface lamination is for. Tell us your machining depth; we design the layup around it.
Q: Can I have one mirror face and one matte bonding face? Yes - mirror + matte-side panels are standard for fixtures and molds where one side is the visible/reference surface and the other bonds to a support.
Q: How flat can a large sheet stay? Flatness is documented per sheet; the longer the span, the more it depends on support and handling. We recommend support patterns in your fixture design - ask us for advice before you design the bolt pattern.
Q: How should the mirror face be protected in use? Ships with protective film; in production, use low-tack masking over the reference face. Cleaning: isopropyl alcohol, avoid abrasives.
Q: MOQ, samples and lead time? Samples 1–5 pcs; production MOQ typically [100] pcs. Samples [10–15] days after drawing confirmation; production [2–4] weeks.
Q: Do you provide test reports? Yes - surface roughness, thickness and flatness reports per batch; material certificates on request.
